Tsutsu Bear Class

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make stuffies? Tsutsu might be perfect for you!

Tsutsu is a wee bear that is only 14 cm tall and takes only fifteen grams of wool! They can fit right in your pocket. Tsutsu is made all in one piece, starting with the head so even though it may be small the pattern is very well thought out and makes the bear come to life in a very fun way! After our bears are completed we will dive into all the accessories, sweaters, toques, scarves, shawls, they sky is the limit!

Here is what you will learn in the class

grafting (kitchener stitch)
putting stitches on hold
basic stuffy construction
short rows

Skill level required: Advanced beginner knitter – intermediate knitter. Must be comfortable knitting and purling with basic increases and decreases. Also must know how to knit in the round either on DPNs or Magic-Loop

Materials: Materials are all listed in the pattern and the pattern will have to be purchased separately online prior to the class. Safety eyes, stuffing and embroidery floss will be provided by the instructor.

Please ensure that all materials are purchased prior to the class and yarn is wound into a ball if purchased as a skein.
