In this class we will learn to knit yourself your very own Emotional Support Chicken, because we all need one of these in our lives! 

Skill Level required: Advanced Beginner; must be comfortable knitting and purling.

Here is what you will learn in this class:

• wrap and turn short rows
• cable cast on
• seaming
• changing colours

Materials supplied by Yarn Twisters:

• red and yellow yarn for the beak and waddle
• polyfill stuffing
• 15mm safety eyes

Materials supplied by students:

• pattern for Emotional Support Chicken by Annette Corsino, can be purchased on Ravelry for $5 USD: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/emotional-support-chicken
• minimum of 2 colours of worsted weight yarn, MC 100g and CC 50g
• 5mm (US 7) needles, your preference for knitting flat, or size required to meet gauge. Note: fabric should be stiff enough that the stuffing does not come out
• 5mm crochet hook (if using to seam tail sections together)
• removable stitch markers
• darning needle
• pen or pencil (if desired to take notes)

Please ensure that all materials are purchased prior to the class and yarn is wound into a ball if purchased as a skein
