In this class we will learn to knit colourwork mittens! 

Here’s what you will learn:

• Stranded colourwork
• Reading colourwork charts
• Thumb gusset and completing the thumb

Skill Level required: Advanced Beginner: must be comfortable knitting and purling.

2 colours of worsted weight yarn, 100g for each colour.  Be sure to pick high contrast colours to ensure you can see the colourwork!  Note: non-superwash yarn is best for colourwork; yarn suggestions: Cascade 220, Blue Sky Fibers Wookstok

3.5mm (US 4) needles, your preference for knitting in the round small circumference (double pointed needles, long circular for magic loop, 9” circular), or size required to meet gauge.  Note: DPN’s or long circular will be required to complete the thunb

Stitch markers (optional, but always good to have on hand!)
